This course goes beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum buzzwords — it is a systems-level exploration of distributed consensus, cryptographic primitives, and decentralised application architecture. Students write and audit smart contracts, simulate Byzantine fault tolerant networks, and analyse real-world DeFi protocol vulnerabilities. A guest lecture series from blockchain engineers at Polygon and CoinSwitch rounds out the curriculum.
Understand distributed consensus mechanisms (PoW, PoS, PBFT)
Write and deploy smart contracts using Solidity
Analyze security vulnerabilities in blockchain protocols
Build a decentralized application (DApp) end-to-end
Evaluate real-world DeFi protocols for security and performance
P2P Networks, Cryptographic Primitives & Hash Functions
Bitcoin Architecture & Proof of Work
Ethereum, EVM & Solidity Programming
Smart Contract Security & Audit Techniques
DeFi Protocols: AMMs, Lending, Bridges
DApp Capstone & Deployment on Testnet
Everything students commonly ask before registering.
No. All blockchain interactions happen on free testnets. No real funds are used.
